The First Case Has Been Registered on the Docket of the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal (R.S.A.T.)

On February 2, 2024, the Secretariat of the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal received the first arbitration request on the tribunal’s docket.
The next day, the Steering Committee of the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal convened, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 13.2 of the R.S.A.T. Arbitration Rules, appointed the arbitrators who compose the adjudicatory panel, namely Professor Cristian Jura, Ph.D., as the presiding arbitrator, Professor Mihaela Tăbârcă, Ph.D., and Attorney Ovidiu Miheț.
The case registered pertains to the football branch of sports and involves a football player as the claimant and a first-league football club in Romania as the respondent.
