Romanian Skandenberg – Armwrestling Federation Joins R.S.A.T.

The Romanian Skandenberg – Armwrestling Federation (FRSKA) has decided to join the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal. During the Annual General Assembly held today, March 31, 2023, in Târgu Mureș, FRSKA members decided to join R.S.A.T., becoming the first federation in Romania in this sports branch to join the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal.

As a result of the modification of FRSKA’s statute, all disputes existing in this sports branch will be resolved through arbitration by the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal.

“We are delighted to be part of a new project that will revolutionize Romanian sports, namely an independent sports arbitration tribunal that can adjudicate disputes in our sports branch within an extremely short period. Through this membership, we provide all FRSKA members access to a jurisdiction specialized in sports law as well as an extremely rapid method of resolving any dispute, in accordance with the norms found in international arbitration courts in Switzerland,” said FRSKA President, Mircea Simionescu Simicel.

The collaboration between the two parties was ratified by the Ministry of Sports through the granting of the required approval.
