The Romanian Automobile Sports Federation (F.R.A.S.) joins T.R.A.S.

PRESS RELEASE

The Romanian Motorsport Federation (F.R.A.S.) is the second national federation to join the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal. 

By the Federal Council Decision of 20.02.2024 of F.R.A.S., published on 21.02.2024, it was established that the jurisdiction applicable to all disputes within the Betano 2024 National Rally Championship is in favor of the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal. 

All athletes licensed by F.R.A.S. for the 2024 season have agreed to a arbitration clause in favor of the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal. According to Article 18.2 of the Betano 2024 National Rally Championship Regulations, Annex IX, “T.R.A.S. has exclusive competence to resolve any dispute or claim arising from or related to this declaration of competitors or its subject or formation,” and Article 19 stipulates that “all matters related to the investigation and enforcement of FIA Regulations and F.R.A.S. Regulations shall be subject to the jurisdiction of T.R.A.S.”
