The Ploiești Court approved the enforcement of the T.R.A.S. arbitral award

PRESS RELEASE 

In the Council Chamber session on April 16, 2024, the Civil Section of the Ploiești Court, presided over by Judge Diana-Ileana Grozescu, approved the enforcement of the first arbitral award issued by T.R.A.S. 

According to the court’s ruling, “the enforcement is approved at the creditor’s request against the debtor based on the enforceable title represented by Arbitral Award No. 1/12.03.2024 issued by the Romanian Sports Arbitration Tribunal through all methods provided by law.” 

This confirms the provisions of Article 18.6 of the Arbitration Rules, namely that T.R.A.S. arbitral awards are final, enforceable, and binding from the moment they are communicated to the parties.
